The artist has always loved the way light plays on objects and colour has been part of her life.
Anita takes care to formulate and understand her subject and in the end the composition of her work evolves from her knowledge of the place/situation.
She involves herself with the subject and nothing is portrayed without personal attention to form, colour and light. The paintings seem to forge their own way sometimes taking on a symbolic meaning. It’s often more than meets the eye.
