New works…

After a “shaky” start – not right image not right canvas, etc etc…. I am a way down the road with this painting of a specific spot in the woods behind our cottage…. it wasn’t autumn yet, but the leaves were starting to change colour. 7 stages of working at it ….. not finished yet….. working working. Work left on some trees/shadows/dog etc….but paint toooo wet – in England it’s a real problem….. can’t sit and wait for it to dry so continuing with base layers of something else till tomorrow.
Latest image of artwork: Almost there…. I took out the dog, repainted the forest floor and just waiting for it to dry and still deciding if I should put back the dog figure or not…….. in the meanwhile it’s dripping wet and still drying.
And now it’s done…. I think.
